On June 15, 2025, the flags of Israel and the United States were displayed at the Serbian Parliament building in Belgrade, Serbia. Civilians are being killed in Gaza by Israel. The US-led NATO bombing of Belgrade in 1999 killed 2000 innocent Serbian civilians. For Serbian authorities this display likely signifies a gesture of solidarity between the nations. For me, it’s a crime against humanity. Both flags involved tragic loss of civilian life. Outrageous and disgraceful.
